Scrip

Print a SCRIP form! star Order Scrip online!

NEW!

Online ordering for Scrip is available NOW!! Go to www.scripzone.com, click "New User", and create your account. Braelinn's group code is 770631BEPTO. "Teams" are listed by grade-teacher name. Please indicate your child's team on each order to ease delivery of your order. You have the option to pay Braelinn PTO by check or to use your credit card. Please note credit card orders are NOT available for local vendors unless you submit a paper order form and the total is $400 or more. Enter your order. If paying by check, make payable to Braelinn PTO, attach to the copy of order confirmation and send to your child's homeroom teacher. All orders submitted by Tuesday, August 24th will be delivered to your child on Friday, August 27th. Thereafter all orders submitted by Tuesday at 9:30 am will be delivered on Friday!! We are very excited to offer you this convenient way to support Braelinn Elementary! How do you raise money for a school without spending any extra money? Through the use of Scrip, which is just another word for gift certificates. Scrip is an ongoing fundraising program that has been very successful during the past three years. Last year we raised around $7,000 for the school. The money went to purchase much-needed playground equipment for our kids.

How does Scrip work? The stores give the school a discount because the gift certificate is a pre-sale for them and because we buy in large quantities. The discount, which averages anywhere from 1.5% to 16%, is the net contribution retained by the school. Therefore, you truly do not pay anything more than what you would normally. You still can buy sale items, get change back (in limited amounts), and use coupons. Some of the certificates have an expiration date, but many do not.

To participate, all you have to do is fill out a Scrip form, attach a check, and send it to school with your child by the deadline. We will fill your order, and either send it home or let you know it is ready for pick-up in about a week.

Please help us help the school by participating in this fundraising program. The money raised is used to purchase books for the Media Center, toys for the playground and many other worthwhile items that our children benefit from greatly!

The above is just an example of some items you can buy with Scrip. Prescriptions, clothing, shoes, presents, ice cream, educational items, etc. can also be purchased with Scrip. So why not use Scrip instead of your cash or check at the participating stores? The small effort on your part helps our children have a better school and does not cost you anymore than what you already spend.
